Our school.... It was officially opened on November 18, 1965 and named after famous Lincolnshire poet, Alfred Lord Tennyson. The opening marked Mablethorpe's first provision of secondary education in the area. I enjoyed many happy years at the school... and memories are all we have left because it no longer stands tall. Just memories are in place, but don't worry memories are more powerful than buildings... 

One such memory we have is by the sheer talent of "Mr. Carpenter man" , Giles Bradley, who salvaged wood and made pens, the most wonderful pens, He has worked hard making in excess of 300 pens. 

For this talent, we thankyou from the bottom of our hearts....
